Purpose of the Job
Our company is seeking a talented and passionate Sales Representative to connect companies and grow our revenue, through identifying, developing and managing leads and moving them along our sales cycle towards closing.
Responsibilities
• Identify and reach out to leads, driving top of the sales funnel pipeline growth.
• Present and promote our solution – both platform and services – to leads, showcasing capabilities and ROI relevant to their situation and needs.
• Understand possible lead / acquisition concerns and preempt with relevant information, data and use case best practices as well as sharing relevant sales collateral along the sales cycle.
• Prepare proposals and quotes based on our pricing strategy and model.
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to sharpen sales strategy.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Successfully hand-over signed deals to our customer success teams so they are fully enabled to build platforms and relationships.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Maintain, update, track and analyse records on lead relationships and movement through our sales cycle in our CRM and actively look for improvements for higher conversion and more efficiency.
• Update sales team and executive team on opportunities, pipeline movement and any relevant information impacting lead generation, pipeline movement or conversion.
• Keep abreast of sales best practices and trends.
• Continuously improve through feedback.
Requirements and Skills
• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative of software solutions.
• Preferably Experience with selling to mid- to enterprise size companies in the Manufacturing, Mining, Retail and Logistics industries.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships externally as well as with internal stakeholders.
• Results-driven and problem-solving mindset with a proven track record of achieving Sales targets.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, manage multiple relationships and collaborate across internal departments.
• Experience with HubSpot CRM and accuracy in managing sales documentation and data.
• Experience with LinkedIn Navigator.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
