Purpose of the Job
Our company is seeking a talented and motivated Digital Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the design team, contributing to the development of digital assets that drive engagement and deliver on our clients’ strategic objectives. You should have a love for digital work and understand digital platforms and their capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design content for external & internal communication and client domains.
- Translate design requirements into prototypes, wireframes and mock-ups.
- Assist in the creation of digital and print solutions, including new client domain concepts, activation materials and in-app collateral.
- Design collateral such as presentations, brochures, infographics, explainers, case studies, videos, newsletters, emailers, social channels, photography, etc.
- Ensure app and website graphics are optimized for web.
- Research and implement the latest design trends and principles.
- Broaden and enhance knowledge by keeping up to date with digital innovations and competitors.
- Digital accessibility best practise knowledge and how to design for them.
Requirements and Skills
- A general understanding of all aspects of design communications.
- 3+ years’ experience in a digital environment within the tech industry.
- Competency in web design
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, XD)
- Adobe XD and Figma
- Communication skills for working with developers, understanding project limitations, ability to make design compromises based on developer feedback.
- Digital knowledge of what is possible from design to dev implementation.
- Experience with website design – designing new pages or redesigns, and knowledge of WordPress.
